My experimental design has changed yet again. Learning to speak brittle star.
Yesterday we finished our last experiment! We have made some further changes to our door-experiment. We made both doors slightly larger to allow the enhanced shell to fit through. The small door was just so big that they could have gotten through it with just their natural shell. Hermit crab with enhanced shell. In total, three subdivided baskets were used in the experiment, giving a total of twelve replicates. Two baskets were placed in one sea table, and one basket was placed in a second sea table.
